2010-Present: As part of our vision for developing the 500-acre area that was previously home to the Edinburgh Estate, we began construction on Brentwood– a 75 acre self-contained community encompassing everything from homes and offices to restaurants, health care facilities and other related community support services.
The first completed part of the development is Brentwood Palms, a gated residential community comprising 80 lots of land, spread out over 13 acres, on which homeowners have constructed privately designed homes.
Brentwood Court, a residential gated community of upscale townhouses and duplexes. The first two phases are already complete and we are about to embark on the final two. The development is in high demand with everyone from young professionals and business executives to expatriates and investors.
Nearby, work on The Brentwood Professional Centre, a modern, architecturally designed, three-storey commercial building, is already underway. In addition to being Caribbean Housing Limited’s new headquarters, the centre will offer 36,000 square feet of prime office space for lease to a varied range of professionals, including medical and legal practitioners, insurance agents, investment and accounting companies, travel agents and spa services.
The development also houses Chuck E. Cheese’s, a family-friendly restaurant, a Unipet gas station with a convenience store and an upscale social lounge.
There are also sections of the site earmarked for financial institutions, supermarkets, offices (including call centres and business process outsourcing services), family entertainment and a shopping mall.
